Battery Storage Warranty (if installed)
Home solar battery warranties are usually good for 10 to 15 years or a specified number of charge cycles (e.g. 6,000–10,000 cycles).
We only sell premium batteries that will still retain at least 70–80% of their usable capacity after the warranty period.

How long do solar panel warranties last in the UK?
The vast majority of solar panel warranties in the UK are between 20 and 25 years, and cover both defects in manufacture and performance. At Eden Power we only install panels with proven long term manufacturer support and rigorous product testing.
What happens if a solar panel stops working?
In the unlikely event that a panel is defective due to a fault or manufacturing defect, the warranty will cover its repair or replacement free of charge. Eden Power process all warranty claims with the manufacturer directly, so there’s no need to worry about repair costs. The warranty is in place to provide peace of mind for all our customers across Shropshire and Herefordshire.
Are solar inverter warranties included in the system?
Yes, all Eden Power systems come with an inverter warranty. These normally range from 5–10 years, and can be extended to 20 years. Inverters are a critical component of your solar system, which is why our team will make sure it is 100% covered by your warranty.
Can I extend my solar panel or inverter warranty?
Typically, yes. Many manufacturers provide extended warranty options for additional years of coverage. Our team can assist you in determining whether an extension is good value for your money based on your system’s use, age and performance data.
Does Eden Power provide aftercare once the warranty expires?
Yes. We have ongoing servicing plans including performance monitoring to ensure your system is working to the best it can once the warranty expires. We have engineers in Shropshire, Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Herefordshire that can come out to carry out inspections or repairs as and when needed.

We are now just into our 4th year of solar panels and storage supplied by EdenPower. It is one of the best decisions we have made for our home.
When we first had them installed, Chris estimated a 6-7 year payback period, but that was before the energy price spike which has meant our payback will now be achieved in year 5!
Service from Chris and the team has been superb. When I made an enquiry about the lead time for a third storage battery, it was installed and working the same week.
For me, this is one of the best reasons to go for an owner managed local company rather than a massive firm who are only interested in getting the deal done.
